NitroNeo Posted May 4, 2013 Report Share Posted May 4, 2013 They don't block it , it just shows as used , but android phones do not show all RAM in open RAM, for example my phone shows total RAM 1.3GB right now even though it is 2 GB , if increase my usage then the total RAM increases too. My opinions and comparison with other flagships: Screen: bloody brilliant, yes its oversaturated and unrealistic. But it really makes everything look more beautiful. My fav screen on the current flagships Camera: I like the iphone 5's and xperia z camera better. Still good enough I guess Looks and feel: iphone 5 takes the cake here. Looks wise htc one is also better though cant compare the feel since Well you know.. Htc one isnt anywhere available. Compared to z i like the s4 . I just dont like the blocky harsh corners of xperia z Contacts lag: none, zilch, nada. There was only the app switch animation like sackboy said since the contacts is not part of the dialer app Overall speed/ lag: no doubt about it, bit of lag is there considering its such a powerhouse of a phone. My s2 is on cynogenmod and the s4 was a bit stuttery compared to it. Note: if thinking of buying Do not go for black. It looks pathetic. Most of the good looking games are rip-offs and plain boring. And the controls are just terrible. Especially all those shitty Gameloft games. I have bought many of them when I got S2 thinking they would be fun, but the controls were so atrocious that I regret buying them, Not to mention heating up of the device. Only good mobile games are those casual time pass games, and they dont even need 512 mb RAM. So dont let RAM be a deciding factor at all. And I open a ton of apps on my S2 without any lag.
