Nowadys kids dnt play in the open like our times..... technology have really got their attention, my 9 year old niece plays cut the rope and makes sure he gets 3 stars in all the levels, may adults will fail at that...and then it really makes their brain work like a gamer :D

9 year old ?, my 2 year 8 months son can play temple run very well, he knows how and when to jump, turn, slide :mellow:

Same with my nephew. He literally smashes through Subway Surfer (with better scores than moi :fear:). Nevertheless, I hardly see any kid playing outside nowadays. Sad times. :( Edited by Bird Bird Bird

err no, my son absolutely loves playing outside, playing outside >>>>>>> than playing on iPad for him

sadly, with the amount of rains in Mumbai in the past two months, he has not been out much, he did not even once ask for iPad when I was on a vacation last week to my in laws,

 

In more news, he has learned how to turn in the RC racing game, now he plays the whole race by himself, thank god for that, I have played so much of that game that I can play it with closed eyes, I just know the circuits so well :mellow:

 

Edit: Bharat, no, my son has learned counting, colors, and many rhymes using the iPad, he can already count to 30 and recognize/write numbers, easily. these things (like smartphones and iPads) can make the kids very smart, of course an addiction is to be checked for,
