the_worm
Hey guys, been reading posts here for a while and finally joined in today. My sis is bringing me a Wii from the US.. she'll be here by the 4th of December. She's already got the console itself.. but what else should I get? There's no places in town to buy Wii accessories n games so I want to get as much as I can in one go. So.. what all do I get? A few things I'm sure of... I'm gettin a Component cable, an extra pair of wii-mote and nunchuk. What else to get? Should i get the Classic controller as well for some of the VC games (I never owned GC so don't have it's controller)?... Another thing is, wether I should buy the wii-mote separately or as a pack-in with Wii Play. Anybody here tried Wii Play? is it any good? the reviews for it vary a lot but are generally poor, so don't know wether it's worth the extra $10. Sis has already bought SMG and Resident Evil 4... I'm planning to ask her to get metroid 3, Mercury meltdown revolution and super paper mario as well. any other suggestions? can't wait for the 4th! PS: another thing.. does wii work fine on a 220 to 110 convertor? any power issues anyones seen yet when doing this? PSS: yet another thing... although i don't plan to be using or even buying the Opera browser on the wii, still I wanna know wether any USB keyboard works with wii or do you need to buy a Nintendo approved Wii-specific keyboard. PSSS: I couldn't determine where to post the message so I posted in the 'News' section. shouldn't there be a default "I gots a weeee!!!" or simply a "Welcome to the forum" type of sticky post? that would help new members introduce themselves and ask basic/dumb questions. **UPDATE** Crap! I just found the" "introduce yourselves" sticky in the General section. Any way for me to move this post there?
