Man In The Box
Okay, we have an Android/Mobile Phone/Apple/Food thread, etc but we don't have any thread regarding televisions. Hence, one can discuss everything regarding LED, LCD, Plasma or even SDTVs here
Man In The Box
Okay guys, I am currently planning to buy an LCD tv for my room. I'm not looking for anything fancy as I just need to replace my obsolete SDTV. Hence, any suggestions for some relatively cheaper LCDs which are good ? Death Stryke
Ah, nice. I was wanting to open one in some time. Can anyone recommend the good 46 inch LCD TVs available. I was looking at these 2 particular models. 1. Sony Bravia KLV-46EX400 2. Samsung LA46B650T1R ....this model's US equivalent has recd excellent reviews on Amazon, so leaning on this for now. Any other models to recommend in this screen size? Also, what about LED TVs? I think only samsung, LG and sony have released so far, which models are good in them? Cash
The Panasonic Plasma's give the best clarity to any game As for lcd Bravia or Samsung.
Death Stryke
I checked it. They dont have 46 inch Panasonic plasmas I'm hoping to grab an LED now since I'm already spending a big amount might as well shell out a lil more for an LED. This one by Samsung is looking tempting. Though its price is still 1.40l Hope I get some discount on this.
achilles
DS.. for that size, go for Plasmas. what are ur usage requirements? the 50" V10 from pana would cost about half that and would butcher the LED. yes. edit : sorry.. not half that.. but would be around 1. Death Stryke
^Usage would be movies, random blu rays and some gaming. General usage. Nothing specific. I'm going for that size coz the living room is quite big. Which model exactly r u talking about? What about power consumption The LED model is rated at 130 W during operation. Holy crap, the plasma you are talking about consumes 530W. I know that the black levels, contrast, less blur, viewing angle etc of a plasma are still the best. Anyway, will check this model out. Mel81x
I wanted to get a Sony myself when I initially started my hunt for the TV to replace the one in my room. But my brother caught wind of what I was looking for and got me an LG for my birthday so now I have a 42inch LCD which isn't so bad. its a 42LF20 and for what its worth, its pretty decent. I went into a showroom to do some comparison work and its got everything I really need. Still, that Sony would have been brilliant for color depth.
