+1. i was talking to sambha today only as to why i aint excited abt it....and now reading good things abt them..i want hear some more...

i aint questioning the levels that fans are gonna create with what they are getting .....i saw awesome creative minds in LBP1.... but i am doubtful abt the story level and all....i dont play online much due to various reasons....so for me story level missions are important ....

 

 

EDIT:before some says talk abt LBP1 story level...i am not saying they were bad...i just mean they get very similar after a while.

It's never too early to want another gift, and thanks to Eitanya at deviantART you can start right now! Not only did she make an amazing undamaged armor Garrus plushie, but also one of Saren. Some people seem to think that Garrus is not very cute, but wouldn't you say he is a lot more huggable than Saren?

 

The Garrus Vakarian plushie is 12" tall standing, all fleece except for the visor, mainly machine sewn and 0% Turian meat. The Saren Arterius one is the same size, all fleece with some nylon cord and metal grommets, also mainly machine sewn and likely prone to be suicidal if you talk him into it.

 

Commissions for Eitanya's work, which includes quite a lot of RPG character plushies, are closed at the moment. I have a feeling there will be a ton of requests in her mailbox over Christmas.

OMG! The demo blew my mind! :O

 

I hadn't really been following the game. All I had seen was that reveal trailer, so I didn't know what to expect. But damn, it is outstanding!!

 

The demo has three levels. One is a speedrun level has you going upwards through a level that has bouncing pads that you accelerate off at high speed and collect bubbles on the way. You also have the grappling hook. This combined with the bouncing pads has the potential for some sweet combos and speed runs.

 

The second level is the best. It's broken into three parts, in each one, Sackboy rides a different animal. The first is a rabbit, that can only jump, Then there's a dog, who can bark to move obstacles around it. I don't remember the third one. Not only do all the animals control well (and completely unlike Sackboy himself) but the levels are designed specififcally with the animal's style of movement in mind.

 

The third level is a versus multiplayer level where all Sackboys have rocket launchers. I didn't play it coz it required MP.

 

If you haven't already been sold on LBP2, play the demo. It's AWESOME!!

Just played all three levels of the demo with a friend... mind-blowing stuff! The kind of variety, and the kind of possibilities this game will offer will be nothing short of amazing.

 

Even the two single player levels were a blast when played in co-op, especially the one with the animal props. It was crazy fun not just to go across the levels, but boost each other to collect stickets and objects... and we were screaming and cursing and laughing like two overgrown kids right through.

 

And this was just the demo! :majesty:

This time ill make sure I publish my own creation....

 

you can publish your lvl in lbp1 right now, it'll be there in lbp2 with better gfx juss like all other 3million + lbp1 community lvls :wOOtjumpy: still remember your lvl, it was fking awesome :hug:

 

The 1st winner of 2011 is here... the demo juz tripled my anxiety of gettin it more earlier now :PWot a sequel it is ... surely 10/10 material... MM :majesty:

I cant wait to see all the wonderful improvements they have done to the engine, it looks spectacular in the videos :dance:

 

Was there any lag in the demo? the netcode in LBP was terrible and if they have improved that then :majesty:
