For 6-10 year old handhelds are the best choice. this is a good point imho. cheap and wouldnt block the family TV. btw, everyone's opinions are being noted, so thanks for your posts. MY brother is 9, he owns a PSP but never plays on it, doesn't really like the wii much either. But he does play a lot of Fifa, forza, etc. and he's even finished both halo 3 and ODST.
