morbidshark Posted May 11, 2010 Report Share Posted May 11, 2010 okay, mates, like i said in my intro -- time to get a new console ! So it's obviously gonna be either an Xbox or a PS. Problem is, what the f*** do i choose ?! i've spent many sleepless nights thinking about this one and turned up with no solution :/ So, please help me on this one mates. Lemme give you a quick run-down on what i'm expecting from my console -- Reliability-- MUST be reliable. I don't want the console to go kaput the next day the warranty gets over Service -- good and helpful service is a bonus Games -- not very choosy but i don't mind opting out of PS3 exclusives like GoW, etc. Console -- it's either the Elite or the Slim. Not willing to go for the other models. So fire away mates ! PS: just wondering, is the Elite even available in India ? if it's that 30K one, then i sure as heck cant afford it. US has both PAL and NTSC-U so i am not really aware about the game compatibilty issues. can i ask you y do u wanna go for the Elite version? For cosmetic or Technical reasons? If all you want is to have good enjoyment and pass time, just come daily on IVG and post such a question (x360 or PS3? My ps3 is more of a bluray player, an excellent one at that. And even before GOW 3, apart from uncharted 2 , most were emo crap or broken shooters like R2. I had more fun with GeOW than all the exclusives of PS3 combined (with the exception of UC 2 ) And not counting 360/PC is a fail argument. Not everyone has a gaming PC. If you look at the no. of good games available, X360 wins hands down.
