m-JeRi Posted May 24, 2010 Report Share Posted May 24, 2010 Hi All... One of my WD Mybook's USB cable got lost. I used another one.. with a ferrite core and all. It worked for a day or 2.. then the drive got unrecognizable. Here are my issues. 1. When connected the drive powers up, even when the PC is not on. WD Mybooks only power up when PC is on. 2. My PC wont shut down. it just hangs on the windows 7 shutting down window. 3. When PC is on, i connected the USB cable. The drive needs to be formatted windows jumps up. and now the USB device not recognizable comes. Anywhere i can get the WD cable??
