Right
Very nice! Guess they would have seen the sales figures of all 3 RnCs and thought "hey had we gone multi-plat we could have had sold more units of one single game than all 3 combined on one platform". RnC will sell like hot-cake on Wii, it will make it there or not, is a different matter altogether. For now, on behalf of all xbots and wiitards, a quick round of applause for Insomniac for coming out of communist world and enter the era of the democracy. Edit: post-count 1337. HundredProofSam
Good deal for Insomniac. Is this deal only for their next new IP or for all their future games barring R&C and Resistance? peace

Aftrunner
Nothing sells on the Wii except first party games. Its where third party games go to die.

HundredProofSam
@ Sam; this should make things clearer.... Oh, and another link where Ted Price talks about the big move Thanks. Both links were very helpful. So its only a one-game deal. Good to see them keeping control and taking it slow rather than signing away 10 years of their life. peace

anish81
Well, everybody screams that, a game which is anounced exclusive to X360 and coming to PC , is not an exclusive anymore. But, think of it in this way, even the PC version of that game needs to be fired up on a MS OS loaded PC not considering piracy in PC OS or games here So, we can safely call these category of games (PC + 360) as MS exclusives. What say u guys??

anish81
^ i don't agree my friend. Look at the business of steam........ And it can't be dead, at least H/W companies like intel/nvidia/amd will not let it die. Otherwise who will buy all those fancy overpriced Processors / Graphics cards from them????? think logically.. WhiteWolf
LOL joining EA & Acti..is better for developers as they can create games for all platforms
Aftrunner
I will give you Just Dance (almost ended up typing Just cause ) but aside from that GH has been in steady decline and I havent even seen any of the other games even charting on NA. Only place I see them is on UK charts where they pop up around number 20 or so. I guess the cost of making Carnival games, Deca sports, Sports active etc isnt that much so they turn a profit regardless but I wouldnt call that selling well. Forget the kind of numbers CoD does even stuff like Borderlands probably outsold most of the Wii third party catalog released that month. Put together. PC gaming is dead...What say u guys??? How did you get that from what he wrote?
rAgHaV
Sony responds to Insomniac's Xbox move Sony Computer Entertainment has responded to Resistance developer Insomniac Games' new multiplatform partnership with EA. Insomniac just announced this afternoon that it's signed a deal with EA Partners to create a franchise for both PS3 and Xbox 360. The move represents the first time in Insomniac's 16-year history that it will create a game for any other system than PlayStation. An SCE spokesperson told CVG: "Sony Computer Entertainment and Insomniac Games will continue to build upon a strong, successful 14-year partnership that has led to more than 35 million games sold and enjoyed by fans around the world. "We look forward to unveiling Insomniac's next PS3 exclusive properties in the near future." Insomniac's widely rumoured to be developing Resistance 3 under the Sony Computer Entertainment banner. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=248220
Keyofx
Shittybox needs all they can get , after all only Alan Wake and Forza is left to support their asses , after Bungie and Epic saying goodbye and Mass Effect already & Fable coming to PC. Would be interesting to see what new IP Insomniac makes. Grow up. Also: I R 'Xbox player'? :|
