It's Steamworks enabled, right? I think you might have hurt Gabe's feelings a little there.

demo on 360 to decide whether to buy on pc or not :|. didn't think i'd have to explain that explicitly. waiting for the pc demo would mean losing the pre-order window/discounts.

so major nelson posted on his blog that the demo is up a few hours ago. i can't find it on the marketplace though.

i can't even believe that i'm asking this, but is microsoft stupid enough to region lock a demo?

Well apparently the demo is still not up on Indian XBLM. And from what I have heard in the MP you only keep the loot if you are the host. So basically if you play with someone for 3-4 hours in co op, the only thing you bring back is your XP. Which is pretty f**king unforgivable considering its a loot based game.

I might have still bought it for the SP but without a demo I honestly dont think I can bother.

Good job screwing yourself out of a sale there Obisdian. :coolspeak:

That's pretty lame. Not a deal breaker for me though. I don't think I'll be playing a lot of co-op anyway, I hate to play games like these with random strangers. Besides I spend a lot of time comparing loot and looking at skill trees... which usually pisses off impatient people.

ok so i played the pc demo. looks pretty good, runs well too but the mouse and keyboard controls are completely f**ked up. obsidian lives up to it's reputation once again.

Ye, the PC controls were a bit awkward but fortunately it has full gamepad support which was great.

try the demo out for yourself, it's actually pretty decent. it has over an hour's worth of gameplay, which is refreshing in today's world of 7 minute demos. for the pc version, the mouse and keyboard controls are horribly messed up and it's plainly obvious that the game is designed for a controller only. it's a significant flaw but there's no point fighting against these things anymore... just plug in a controller and play the way it was meant to be played.

the demo was enough to convince me to pre-order the pc version for 620 bucks. if you're looking at getting a console copy, maybe wait for some reviews?
