playstation Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 Cops to probe youth's NASA job claimsLUDHIANA: City police will be investigating the claims of Prateek Bajwa, 17, a resident of BRS Nagar, who said he had been given a job offer letter by USA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to work there as a micrbiologist. He had also stated that he was being offered a sponsorship by NASA as well. "His claims seem fake. Action would be takes as per law," said commissioner of police Ishwar Singh. Bajwa had stated that US president Barack Obama invited him to conduct reasearch on increasing human lifespan by 10-15 years. He said he was taken to Delhi airport in a BMW car sent from the governor's house. From Delhi, he had said he reached USA in a chartered plane. He had further claimed that while working in NASA, he had created a machine for curing diabetes and blood pressure. Bajwa had also said that he had been gifted a pen and his statue was being installed at NASA. He had also stated that he was offered a salary of Rs 1.65 lakh per day. There were some other facts also, like his parents not being allowed to see him, which made police doubt his story. His mother knew nothing of the trip.
