Sherry Jose
Hi all, I have my PS3 connected to my Dell S2409W HD monitor through HDMI cable. I am currently using Creative 2.1 speakers connected to my monitor. I am getting very low sounds when playing games like GTA, but sound quality is very good when playing UC2, etc. Is there any way that the sound quality would improve if i connect the speakers directly to the PS3. If so, how do i connect it to PS3, i dont see an audio out pin in PS3. Help me guys !

Jerush
You need either of these to connect to the optical out cable from ps3. You can get it from Ritche st. I got it from there 2 yrs back

Nemo
I have a similar sounding question. I use a benQ 24 in monitor. It (the monitor) has a audio output, a 3.5" jack. I directly connect my speakers to that, is it ok to use that permenantly ?? i mean can it cause any damage or as such ?

dabba
thanks box bhai ! i thought its supposed to be only a stop gap arrangement. now no worries ! as long as there is a volume control, the output signal can be controlled... so u don't have to worry abt it blasting the speaker/earphone and ur welcome... He has already connected the monitor to the speaker, which gives the same result of what you suggested. What he asked for is a way to improve audio quality. Noctis
^Well, like I said doing that won't change anything. Its only useful if you can't connect the tv/monitor to the audio system.
