Nemo
I loved how totally unselfish some of those goals were. I bet a lot of other so called "great" players would have taken a shot on goal (even when the odds were of getting a rebound at best) instead of passing the ball to an open player. It was fantastic to see them play to win. yup, love that part about them, all my football life (watching/playing) i hated when people praised the flashy, solo stuff, neglecting the players who played their game directly and efficiently; i mean yeah its awesome to see the tricks and flicks but nothing beats simplicity and good teamwork. theres nothing special about germany they are just very efficient, quick thinking, one touch pass, run behind the man etc etc mueller is the epitome of this, does everything RIGHT nothing special and look how it has worked for him that my friend is sometimes more special than any special.. you know how they say common sense is not so common, like that. love the german team work. Aftrunner
That Muller card was harsh. He really should not miss the Semis for that. Poor f**ker.

dabba
I loved how totally unselfish some of those goals were. I bet a lot of other so called "great" players would have taken a shot on goal (even when the odds were of getting a rebound at best) instead of passing the ball to an open player. It was fantastic to see them play to win. yea.. the only other team that did this was argentina..... the germans closed them down well today.. their defense was very good... That Muller card was harsh. He really should not miss the Semis for that. Poor f**ker. true that... it definitely was not an intentional hand ball.. hit him high up on the arm... n his arm was stuck to his body... also there were plenty of germans between the ball n the goal-line... so it was harsh a real pity... podolski was a little off in his passing today... gave the ball away a bit too easily for my liking n oezil seemed a bit lethargic too... but then they did mention he was suffering from a fever n skipped training
HundredProofSam
I thought Podolski was brilliant today, and he didn't get the credit. If I'm not mistaken, it was his passes that resulted in two goals. It was great to see Schweinsteiger play well, but every time I watch him I'm disappointed that they turned him into a defensive player. He was a brilliant attacking winger in his early days. He showed flashes of that today. peace
Nemo
Hello all, This is the German bandwagon here. I've heard that both the Brazilian and argentinian bandwagon have broken down, which is no surprise as both are of inferior quality when compared to mine. With the majority of you all now running onto Spain's wagon, I would like to court you select few who are looking for your 3rd or 4th team to support. We are now accepting glory hunters like yourselves. C'mon aboard before it's too late!

Hot-Drake-Pixel
How come no one's talking about german defence and especially the golie. There were so many saves by german golie today.
HundredProofSam
Well, the Argentinians kept hitting shots along the ground straight at the keeper. You expect any keeper to stop that. Except Robert Green. And ya, the defenders were great. Boateng was a slightly weak link but the rest were rock solid, especially Lahm. peace
