But, they really should implement the goal line technology Uh no...when the ball is 2 feet behind the pole its not at all hard to spot a goal...for an experienced linesman. So yea its his own fault if he isn't in correct position. Actually I think in the last Confederations Cup...something of this sort was applied...there was a sensor in the ball that would tell if the ball crossed the line...but the players complained that it was making it hard to hit the ball (lame) so they scraped it. I still think FIFA should green lit replays....their excuse of "disrupting the flow" is lame as hell cause unlike Cricket here in Football if its a goal you can spot it simply by looking at a single replay. Its even more funny when you realize that by the time the keeper makes a goal kick the braodcasters already show the attempt atleast 2-3 times...that's more than enough to make a decision.
