Joy
Why's Rooney invisible today. He is in poor form agree , but when their is no service from the center or the wings at all , what a striker can do. If only that goal was allowed , the match outcome might had been different , but there is no deny Eng defense is crap , Terry w/o Ferdi can't play and Jhonson is probably the worst Right back in the history of English football. Don Karnage
Wasn't England Manager defender John Terry saying that Joe Cole and Wayne Rooney are capable of picking apart any defense If only the English players were as capable with the ball as they are in front of the mic. Agreed....had Rio Ferdinand been here in the match Eng's defense would've been rock solid with him & Terry. And yes English players break too easily, had the goal been given the outcome could've been a lot different from what it is now. Wasn't England Manager defender John Terry saying that Joe Cole and Wayne Rooney are capable of picking apart any defense If only the English players were as capable with the ball as they are in front of the mic. What can they do if no one provides good ball to them ? Especially Rooney...he can't do sh*t if he isn't provided any help from the mid field. HundredProofSam
As Jon Champion says "Football that's a joy to watch." I'm still rooting for Argentina, but I'd really like to see Germany win. They were the best team at the last World Cup, and they're looking dangerous this time. peace
Nemo
what bloody ruthless German efficiency. no fancy shamcy stuff, Just plain 'ol solid defense, clinical finishing and robust play all around. Do it the German way
praveer
England's football team reminds me of India's cricket team ; best players on paper, every one of them leads a glamorous lifestyle with lots of fame & money....but when it comes to performing on the field...sabki phaat jati hai. DevilsOwn
what bloody ruthless German efficiency. no fancy shamcy stuff, Just plain 'ol solid defense, clinical finishing and robust play all around. Do it the German way since the last world cup under klinsmann, the way Germany play has changed. They now play beautiful attacking football. Quick passing, off the ball movement, through balls. All done very fast. And most of this German team is young. If they get a good Klose replacement they shall be on top of world football for a while.
