But then they also had a pretty lame showing last time around so had time to make up. The 3DS line up is amazing and Sony better something substantial to show up else they will be blown out of the handheld market completely. The PSP is a good handheld but Sony truly f**ked up on the marketing and pricing. I saw parts of Sony's presentation - it seems 3D is Sony's new big push. IMO it is a bit too early for new expensive tech especially since blu ray still has not widespread presence and the fact that HDTVs have only become somewhat affordable in the last year or so (still very expensive in our Country ). Also the other main thing - glasses. Buying a pair of glasses worth $125 for every member in the family - hell even for two, it is $250, you can buy a console for that price - way too expensive. I am all for new tech but it loses some of its purpose if it is not affordable. The internet, mobile phones, cable tv are all awesome now because they are affordable. I loved the Sorcery game for the Move and genuinely think it is fun. Regarding Microsoft's - nothing really to say. I am not a fan of the Xbox - I dont hate the company or anything, just that I have not found the Xbox and its exclusives really that attractive. I loved Halo 1 campaign on the PC though. Microsoft tried alot to steal the show but was pushed back in terms of great and quality titles delivered by Nintendo and Sony. I mean exclusives. As I have to choose only 1, so I voted for SONY, only bcoz of quality exclusives. But still Im a bit disappointed bcoz of the absence of 2 quality titles of SONY (Resistance 3 and TLG). At least they must have showed a teaser. I was counting for that. Apart from that this was easily 1 of the best E3 in years. Lots of Software,Tech and hardware was shown. Turning Point: 1.Gabe Newell in SONY's Conference with PORTAL 2. 2.David Jaffe's Twisted Metal. I know atleast none of us have expected that.
