At least I haven't come across anyone using it abroad. Why don't you look into using the airtel DTH instead? Many people do so with airtel/tata sky/dish tv STB in middle east countries. Not sure if it will be possible in europe/US because of satellite positioning. But you can get a lot of Indian channels there also through local operators I think.. Like shantz said, there are tons of people illegally using them in Dubai, Muscat etc with their relatives recharging the accounts for them in India. Dont know about IPTV box. Quality seems awesome but Star Movies/ Star Plus and Star World should have different time schedule like Star Gold, cause their movies finsih a good 15-20 minutes earlier than their SD channels and then they just put a Behind the scenes program. So, you should be up to date.. Santz bhai, I read somewhere that the HD+ boxes are also getting updates, so you can try that trick & see if you go into any update. That's probably because the box is very new and they are finding lot of bugs (and there are indeed lot of bugs.. one of them got introduced with one update after which the channel used to auto-increment by 1 if I didn't do anything with the remote for about 10 minutes lol..
