Solitaire
Stick to your current one if you value your download limit. Else you'll be subject to the whims and fancies of airtel once you change your plan. I can bet they're already calling you and asking you to upgrade to their "new and improved plans"

DevilsOwn
there is a 1799 4mbps plan with 50GB FUP. its the one i have at home (mumbai). you should try that
Solitaire
The old plans are the only ones with a 100g FUP and as long as you refuse to move from that connection, you protect your right to a download limit that high. When you move to a new one, you essentially agree to a new set of rules, and at this rate they will move all airtel connections to a 15gb FUP limit. That is cutting a bit close. Stick to your old plan for now. Don't move even if they compel u.
arnav_in_3d
In karnal internet is restricted at 2 Mbps @ devil I don't think I'll even cross 30 gigs even if I start seeing 480 p YouTube n download more demos ok but won't I save money by reduced call rate

mixke
Since you're not looking to save a few bucks on connection, I'd suggest sticking with current plan. Reason - FUP limit and speed you get after reaching the limit. New limits ain't any good
achilles
With that speed I'd burn through YouTube high def on my iPad and cross that FAIL fup within a week. What's the point of speed when you can't use it? It's like buying a lambo and all you can drive it in is your own driveway. You can take it out, but only in gear 1. mixke
But now even if I wanna get a 2mbps plan d one wid biggest fup Is dis If you really need the 2Mbps speed from Airtel, then I believe you know the option. Can't help why Airtel has introduced such crappy limits. Otherwise, you already have a great plan. Even after crossing the limit, you'll get 512Kbps on your current plan - this is not the case in new plans. I've heard Reliance also has some interesting plans with no FUP. I'm not sure if it has 2Mbps or not. Check their site also - but make sure to cross-check service of Reliance in your locality
arnav_in_3d
i have calculated my usage frm airtel site n its a little under 9 gigs very very less
mixke
i have calculated my usage frm airtel site n its a little under 9 gigsvery very less That is so less With that kind of usage, you can easily go for 40GB FUP with 2Mbps speed. But once again, your existing plan is one of the best plans by Airtel and is not provided to new customers. Take your pick.
