scath Posted June 25, 2010 Report Share Posted June 25, 2010 My PS3 is not reading Blu-Ray discs.I popped in Dark Sector,GoW III but no icon shows anywhere.It plays DVD's. I dunno whats happened please help me. It was perfectly fine 2 days ago and since then no one has even touched it. Since it is not under warranty, either get the lens replaces for under ~4k or get a new ps3 slim at 10k, your pick. My Dad would kill me. For the PS3 itself I convinced him with so much difficulty to spend 19k on a so called "useless" thing. A second one is outta the question. :) Well it's the same situation but if ashish's method doesnt work then maybe you could tell him that this 19k thing is wasted unless you get a new one at 50% off special only for you, or get the BD lens replaced yourself for under 4k. I have heard bad stories about palika- replacing brand new discs with used discs and selling them as new, and replacing original sony/MS parts in consoles with cheap desi/chinese parts when you give the consoles to them for repair. Now when I come back and try to insert an Audio CD in the PS3,it just doesn't go in.I mean dunno what,something's struck in there.the Ps3 is refusing to let anything enter it.
