Sherry Jose
Hi Friends, I want to open a DEMAT account, could anyone suggest the best providers for it. I considered ICICI, but people are advising me to take a SHAREKHAN account. Whats your suggestion ?

If you just need it to keep your shares in it and not actively trade then my suggestion would be to check with your current bank (salary ac) if they'd open one for you. Otherwise, go for a plan thats lowest on annual fees. I use an ICICI demat and trading account and havent had any issues with it so far. Even their trading platform is quite stable esp on high volatility days.
