ALPHA17
^ Good band, one of the original bands I started to listen when entering the alternative scene. Â I do not listen to them as often now but Loser remains close to the heart and my mental state.
goneforever
Suggest some other bands like them. I was wholly into EDM all thru the late 90s and mid 2ks so missed out on pretty much everything else. Recently started discovering other genres.
ALPHA17
^ Breaking Benjamin, Audioslave, Avenged Sevenfold, Trapt, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Staind to name a few. Â The Goo Goo Dolls, Poets of the Fall, The Rasmus and Oasis are other bands to look out for. Â I would also put in bands like Porcupine Tree, Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus on a slightly different list but look out for.
goneforever
Cool.. that's a start. Â I've heard some stuff from RHCP, Poets of the Fall, Audioslave and liked what I heard. Especially Poets' King Of Fools. That was great.
Ph3N0M
3 Doors Down was THE very first band that I started listening to carefully not just casually. They literally kick-started my interest in music. Do you guys like Landing in London by them? That is one of their best tracks for me. Â Landing in London is great track by them but I like their original album the best. Â Kryptonite Loser and Be Like That being the most listened tracks by me. Ph3N0M
I agree that many of their earlier works are overall better, but "Landing in London" just connects with my current situation perfectly, being so far away from the ones I care about. Anyway, let's continue 3 Doors Down lovefest with this classic: ~3 Doors Down -- Here Without You -- Live in Houston, TX, USA~ Edited September 9, 2014 by Ph3N0M
goneforever
Keane - Everybody's Changing First time I heard this song was in 2011 a month before my daughter was born. I remember the responsibility was just beginning to sink in and I was freaking the f**k out. A very close friend gave me this song. It was the song I listened to everyday at least 10 times. Calmed me down.
