Even then this controller broke down. Speaks volumes about the steady decline of Sony, the once great corporation. Is it not enough that we are paying more for the console over here? Do we need to have substandard build quality paired with cheap components too? Please tell me warranty covers the controller too. And I still own lots of stuff from them, Till this date I have owned: Sony J21PF1 Trinitron TV (Best Audio/video) Went pfft one day and the repair charge is more than half the original price of the TV!!! Sony DVD Player: Does not play discs anymore Sony Walkman (Tape) . Great sound but extremely shoddy everywhere else. Sony T610 Mobile phone, years ahead of the competition. and more Plus PS3. Most of these products have the potential to be extremely satisfactory. But is let down by very bad quality. The slim PS3 have very bad plastic quality and it shows. Which is why I claim the company is going bonkers as well as down. Service is especially bad, in fact dubiousChinese companies have better service now. By the way after restarting the console (Removing Power) problem was solved !!! So There! I can enjoy this Sunday at least. Ghosts in the System? AFAIK there is no warranty on the DS3 controller except DOA. Still, it doesnt hurt to check with your retailer / Sony about the warranty. And ya this shouldnt rage into another MS Vs.
