Keeping games in mint condition

First off I have never tried buffing a game disc... Even if I did I would never sell it... All my games are always maintained in the same condition that I received them in... But movie DVDs do tend to get scratched since other people also handle them...

This is the only reason my DVDs / CDs get scratched :( It's really sad. But friends just nick them from me and when the return it, that is when I know they had nicked it; only to find it scratched or grevy on the disk or something hideous like that :ranting:

I don't let my friends or family members anywhere near my game disks. Hell, I don't even let my mom dust/clean my console. I don't like others tampering with my babies.

With PS3 games on blu-rays I am least bothered about keeping them in mint condition. Not a single blu-ray(and I have a lot) or PS3 games I have purchased so far has died on me and I am not the tidiest person when it comes to taking care of game/movie discs. DVDs and xbox games, oh the horror and pain. I still shudder to think how my Halo3 and MassEffect disc were badly scratched and became unplayable.
