21 days before my ps3 stucked with god of war 3 cd in it.

 

as this is 80gb ps3 which was on verge of death as only 23 days warranty was left on it

 

i sended that day itself to sony service center

 

after 21days today morning they replied your ps3 has been replaced with new 120gb model please collect it but my point was where is my GOD of war 3 game DVD they said they cant take it out

 

i told i want my god of war 3 dvd .........they told they cant take it..as they have to unvoid the warranty sticker

 

now how can i get my god of war 3 dvd..tell me someone

WTF SONY! :angry:...you should not let this go yaar..yeh koi baat nahi hua...Sony should give you the game ..if they cant take it out ...they can atleast give you the game from there stock....no matter what you can let them do this....I hope Atindriya babu is reading this. :furious:

Atleast you are getting a new one, nothing you can do about the disc though.

this is not fair from sony side at all..how can they say that they cant take it..as they have to unvoid the warranty sticker ...they are the company its their product ...the sticker is to warn the consumers not to open it but if company only say that we wont open it as this will unvoid the warranty than whom do we take it too...i know ps3 is send to singapore and from there new replacement comes but its all under sony only...Sony's reputation has gone down a lot in case of customer care in my opinion...the games cost rs 2500 .bought are from hard earned money how can we let this go?? Sony :thumbdown:

Damn..this is unfair!

 

Anshul, dont let them off easily on this. Agree with PS, warranty seal is only to deter the customer tampering with it.

 

The fact that Sony standards are depleting doesnt make MS an angel either.

had a fight for 1 hour with there service manager.

 

they said they have already send the old peice to the delhi warehouse which they cant get back and in case i get back i have to take old ps3 back 80gb.

 

the only good part i got new ps3 with new remote within 21days dont know about other people in small city like indore and agra and other city but 21 days really made life miserable

 

now i have ps3 but without god of war 3 dvd.

 

okay listen some good points here

 

1)sony service center wont give warranty on any accessory..................even u buy from anywhere in this world

2)sony service center have no knowlege about croma 3 years warranty in my city ,so please before buying a 3 years warranty stuff from croma ,first talk to sony customer care . I know people might be thinking that sony will charge and Croma will pay the insurance but did anyone ever tried this.

 

3) no warranty on blu ray remotes of sony.

4)only vaio laptop can get +2 years warranty.

 

5)Best part if you gave your 80gb model they will try there level best to replace it with some other refurbished 80gb mind it i have to apply my sources then only i can get 120gb,

 

trust me they have lot of 80gb refurbished in stock.,

 

6)dont know why but i wont suggest anyone to get ps3 from today bcz after 1 year what will happen to there console .Luckily my console just gone kaput 21 days prior only

 

@Playstation really appreciate your help but nobody can do anything about this now...bcz big people dont see about small stuff like this.

As service head said we have different way of working.

 

@dark knight you brought PS3 from croma right check with service center about 3 years war ranty issue..

i got it once out but another shot not let me successfull.so i gave them to service center.

 

if i would know this would happen i would have put some sega genis Game disc to it.

 

the only bad part i hated in this whole dealing that they didnt gave my game cd and they said they wont give

 

see i could have waited for another 1-3 weeks for that game disc but tell me who is going to compensate for my 2500rs now..

another victim here :(

few months ago my 40gig ps3 stopped working and i took it to sony chandigarh.

It had mgs disk in it.

they told me they will inform me within a week if the console will be replaced or repaired.

After 10days i got a call from showroom manager who told me they have replaced my console. now same thing - when i went there they said they were unable to eject the disk.

I had a good fight with the manager and when i called my uncle, who is a big big police officer (in size as well) , they told me they will look into it.i got my disk back the third day.

So they can actually eject the disc, hence information given to Anshul is false. This is not cool :furious: :furious:

yeah, this is not fair, sue them SONY bastards....either they should give the disc stuck inside the ps3 back or either give the customer same game disc from their sources...this is just lame SONY fktards :ranting:

 

Sam put this in Atin's ear in next interview, lets see what he has to say :threatenlumber:

Well i don't think they can elect it, but being "sony" they can open the console and return the disk.

And you can definitely sue them for this. thats what i was going to do if they didn't cooperate.

Imo they are just lazy ppl who don't want to open the console.

My slot loading car player had similar issue.the first thing pioneer guys did was return my cd.

Point is its customer harassment instead of care.first they take ages to replace the console and then this.why can't they learn something from ms?

yeah, and ship a product that needs replacement every 2months and then replace it within a week! :doh:
