This isn't console war mate.ms makes other hardware too and provides good support.and there are falcons - jaspers too which don't break. Have you had any experience? they did shipped the console back in a week, but spent 10 days in registering the console. but yeah, best customer support, I have ever encountered, in terms of response. I say dont even wait for next interview just email him this thread.....if this is the way we are going to be treated even after paying more than the rest of the world for same product then its just sad and all we can do is avoid sony product coz of its bad customer support. DealinGames Posted July 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 27, 2010 some of my exp @ MS customer care is only good bcz they replace console but also i do run lounge and from last 1 year none of my console has shown a single problem and they all are core model.... and some ARcade model touchwood okay worst part in MS.....they CD has shorter life ...as game dvd easily get scratch from it. XBox are more prone to dustness as compared to playstation 3. @ ps3 ..customer care sucks from small city ..as they take more then 20-30 days for some reply and if they dont get something they say sir we will let u know . i really had bad day.as i lost my one game disc ..due to lack of sony sh*t head.... ps3 game cd are good as they dont get scratch @ anyone who has brought console from croma did they checked there warranty of 3 years.. @ make my words upcoming lounge no ps3 ....for sure as who will take responsiblity after 1 years ..of playstation 3.. for sure....... @sony only have good support for there running stuff like camera and walkman no good support for console.. did anyone tried for replacing LCD Tv..try them they will say the model has been stop it will take more time.. make my words ....ps3 service will always sucks...and we have to ready to pay double price. They either try to repair it inhouse or give you a new or refurbished piece... And here's another suggestion. Since Sony India doesn't care about giving proper warranty, buy it from abroad. you'll save atleast 30-40% on the price which you can keep aside for any repairs... Did you ask them for the disk when you handed over the console? Btw all replacemnts are slims nowdays. You dont get phat as replacement consoles. As for phat being refurbished, I myself got a replacemnt phat console and got 1yr warranty on it and it was all in proper packaging. I got the UC and GT5 p bundle as replacemt. Not worth it dealing with customer support and paying 30-50% extra. Its worth the risk to buy abroad. DealinGames Posted July 28, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 28, 2010 @just one point i would to like to know how can replacement console can have 1 year warranty they did gave me new console and didnt took any accessory from it as i gave them my old accessory in change but they took our the warranty card and putted a stamp over there mentioned its replacement console i know they do replace 120gb for old phat 80gb model but they still have old 80gb model in stock in there warehouse which is refurbished or repair as i have already got 1 refurbished console 2 months back for my another 80gb model. @i never insisted on any wars ,just mentioned bad which has happened with me. i just saw my 2500 rs gone ruined @they never took game cd bcz if they could have ever able to eject game cd they could have given me my old console back as only problem in console was Game was not coming out. Reason they didnt try to open the peice was that they said my console seal was intact that why they could have given me replacement . At the Mumbai service centre they remove the disk before taking the console for replacemnet. Polash got his fifa disc back from the sony ppl when he gave his old console.
