VelivolusDas Posted August 1, 2010 Report Share Posted August 1, 2010 Here's my story: When my out-of-warranty PS3 YLoD'ed, I took it to the Sony Service Centre....... They checked it and said it couldn't be repaired...... They offered me the 50% replacement option......... But due to financial constraints, I wasn't able to agree to that deal at that point of time............ But I told them I have my FIFA 09 disc inside.......... They took the console inside and within 15 minutes, a guy came out with the disc....... So, if they were able to take it out, anybody from Sony in India should be able to do that......... If it's within the extended warranty period, then post your experience with Croma people out here. I too have the an extended warranty on my Slim.
