sagalime
i do now..... first thing the jeeves consumer service center receipt had a bangalore??? number on it. i called them and asked them for their mumbai no. i called on that no. nobody picked up. then i called a toll free no. which i think the same girl from bangalore picked up. i asked about my ps3. after a lot of waiting and multiple queries about my customer id i was told to call their mumbai office and she gave me the same no. again. i told her i already called that no. i waited again then she gave me cell no. of a guy who works there. i called him and told him the story. he said yes they know about my ps3. it is with the sony service center. the people at sony will repair or replace it and people at jeeves will pay for it. I said i dont care who reapairs it, replaces it, pays for it or jives with it. when will i get the ps3. he seemed to have noticed the tone of manic desperation in my voice. he said it will at least take 3-4 days more, and he will update me on any status change asap. it has been exactly 7 days today.......tick...tock...tick...tock

sagalime
update for people interested in this issue. i had given my ps3 on 3rd of august. today i had chat with the jeeves consumer service guy and asked him WTF is going on with my ps3. he said that they are waiting for some approval. after the approval comes they will get the ps3 back from sony service center and then i will have to take that back to croma for a replacement. he has assured me that it will happen by next week.............. THIS sh*t IS SO CRAPPY !! its a good thing that nothing spectacular has been released this month, and also i had exams. otherwise it would have been hard to be ps3-less for such a long time. The customer service is really shitty.. They will go to any length to get money out of you but will be such a beggar when it comes to give the services. So much for Customer Service. mixke
This is sad. We pay happily without knowing if we would need the service, provided we try to take care of our thing. And when it's their turn to provide service, they need all approvals and time in the world. Crap!

Bird Bird Bird
Wow ! This sure is sucky on both Sony's & Croma's part ! So much for extended warranty :|
dullu
As milol stated; M$ service tops....i had my blown power adapter replaced within a day! I also remember when abhinit's PS3 died;it took almost 90 days for him to get the replacement. And that too when it was within Sony warranty
Walker
I guess extended warranty also extends timeframe to replace device.... but seriously 90 days is overkill!!
AtheK
ahhhh, sorry to hear this dude....But i am sersiously annoyed with Sony, good both my consoles are out of region, with this kind of response, i rather ship them to us, i guess that would be faster then waiting for these dumb f**ks to understand that there is a heavy moolah spent for the console. sagalime
ok i have an update..... i really fired the guy this week....the time period has really become ridiculous...even the service guy at jeeves seemed to be a little sorry..but i cant really be certain if that was genuine or not...so anyway he said that a replacement has been approved and they are waiting for the demand draft and it will be 1 week and i will be getting a replacement. after waiting for almost a month i feel that buying an extended warranty, at least from croma may not be such a good idea. i did send croma 2 emails regarding this but they did not reply. This week if nothing happens, i will go to croma, throw the receipts on their faces and graffiti some twisted sh*t on their display windows with photoluminiscent paint. if you stay near juhu, keep an eye on the croma windows.....
