ok i have an update.....

i really fired the guy this week....the time period has really become ridiculous...even the service guy at jeeves seemed to be a little sorry..but i cant really be certain if that was genuine or not...so anyway he said that a replacement has been approved and they are waiting for the demand draft and it will be 1 week and i will be getting a replacement.

after waiting for almost a month i feel that buying an extended warranty, at least from croma may not be such a good idea. i did send croma 2 emails regarding this but they did not reply.

This week if nothing happens, i will go to croma, throw the receipts on their faces and graffiti some twisted sh*t on their display windows with photoluminiscent paint.

 

if you stay near juhu, keep an eye on the croma windows.....

my 40gb ps3 has started giving probs & it has cromas 2 years extended warranty

only if u do some graffiti sh*t on their windows, i'll actually take a break from my job and come to Juhu to see teh sh*t, and laugh at their f**ky faces, and we will party :gunsmilie:

This really sucks, I hope you get a replacement soon dude.

 

Even I got my once laser f**ked Xbox 360 replaced within 2 days from MS and thats when I am not located at some Metro city.

Better yet threaten to write a letter to the editor,and then after that threaten to go to the consumer court

yeah i will be doing that this week. i will go tomorrow and tell them off personally.

emails and all are bullshit.

so... i went to croma on thursday and told the customer service guy about the delay and gave him an earful. he called up the guy at jeeves and talked to him. then he took copies of the receipts i had and told me he will mail these to the TATA AIG insurance guys who handle the approval or something and will push it ahead and he will call me within 2 days.

so i asked him i will get the ps3 in 2 days. he said no after 2 days he will tell me how much time it will take to get the ps3. :bash:

today is sunday i have not gotten any calls. i have understood it is just a tactic to delay....everytime it is like....ok sir, blah blah blah we will call you back, and they never do.

 

so tomorrow is the deadline. i will go to croma give them one final chance.....to not disappoint me.

This just means croma warranty means nothing..... Getting claims for any insured product is tough but this is just disgusting that croma and tata aig which both are under the reputed Tata umbrella are employing such devious tactics.

To the OP, if you're a kid just get your parents and a few folks and make such a bad scene that the outlet in juhu either gives in or loses customers.... Manager ki maa ch0d dena waha ki :ranting:

the warranty will have to be upheld... the only thing is customer service is a joke in India... so they will make him run around to get it done... sad but true story... :(

last i checked, Tata Indicome sux, tata cars are being driven around as Taxis, my friends are wary of buying Linea cos of tata service...

encouraging him to molest croma property will most likely screw his case in an altogether different way... and it will *NOT* help him get the ps3 replacement. If anything, khaali-fokat mein police case tak baat pahunch jaayegi.

stay calm and focus on getting the replacement...do not fall for the temptation of doing smth rash bro... Consumer Court = Yes, Newspaper Article = Yes... Do things like these... thats what will force the croma-suckers to get your ps3 back.
