Vote for the Greatest Video Game Villain of all time!

Ideally you should be comparing "Into the Maw of Chaos" with "Sabotage at Soulforge". Sadly Maw is a joke of a level - that is the one level which disappoints in the whole game. It's fun and definitely works as a climax, but it's nowhere near the complexity of Sabotage.

Oh yeah, crap. I wanted to say 'Maw of Chaos'.. level names confusion.

I was actually expecting a more brain-melting version of 'The Sword' when I fist started Maw of Chaos, was disappointed.

Pyramid Head .. well atleast the scariest / creepiest

Creepy/scary, yes. But I wouldn't call PH a "villain"... at least not a the strict sense. He's more like Silent Hill's manifestation of a person's guilt. He acts more like a judge and executioner than a traditional villain.

Some of my favorites...

Vergil (DMC3)

Albert Wesker (Resident Evil)

Shodan (System Shock)

GlaDOS (Portal)

Arthas (WarCraft III)

Shao Khan (Mortal Kombat)

Diablo

Kerrigan (StarCraft)

G-Man (Half-Life.... debatable though)

Kane (C&C)

I don't think GS should include villains that have made their transition to games from other media... like The Joker or Darth Vader.

Ah, The G-Man. Can't possibly have more personality from spoken words that few. :good: But then yea, he will become sort of an ally now.

And obviously Vader's leading because of the big movie franchise behind him!

P.S. : Doesn't anyone else find Alma scariest/creepiest? I'm still afraid of little girls though. :fear: Is there actually a named phobia for this?

You mean the one from WWe?

lol...used to like during his masked days

I'm pretty sure he meant Kane from Command & Conquer.

yeah..who else will be..and the live action cut-scene by Joseph D. Kucan made him more than many of the Video game Heroes
