Madhav
specs are not up to date Poor battery life too for a netbook . atom dual core, 4gb ram, nvidia ion... not really bad i guess!!! & reviews are saying 6hrs of battery.. Long story. Posted it twice on IVG. Search the "PC Experts" thread. Short version: Horrible build quality. Refurbished material. Died on nearly 60-70% of friends who got it (nearly 2 years back). I think Afty also said something on the same line. The only good thing about Dell is their CC. Probably to cover up all the messy assembling they do. :| Even I don't like Dell's build quality at all!!
kunallkw
Madhav please stay away from Dell. Only advice. monitors are not where they shine ... and their sandy bridge series is awesome and no overheating The thing is, I want a very light laptop as I'll be needing to travel with it... So, 11"-12" is definitely a deciding factor for me... & as far as I know, yu get everything in a netbook except for CD/DVD-ROM drive.. which is of no use to me anyway! true optical drives are of no use these days , it only pinches when one needs to re-install an OS, unless one has a separate computer to transfer the OS to a flashdrive then go about it 11-12" damn! that is small/light , although the one i suggested is 750gms heavier than the one you chose ,so it's not much of a difference since you'll be going for older gen cpu's + gpu combos be sure to do some thorough research on overheating and gpu failures , this sh*t happened a lot lately with almost every brand , not sure if it's affecting the netbooks per se but no harm in checking temps from people are currently using it with few on TE. Yeah that might be an issue... will check on that!! Though, the Sony Vaio YB series has an i3 processor...If Asus doesn't plans out, then i'll look for Sony... Good build quality matters to me alot and there aren't many laptop companies who offer that!!

Bird Bird Bird
Nunni that's a comparison between Intel Atom and Core i5 ! Nowadays with Nvidia Ion 2 & AMD Fusion, you can easily watch HD movies, play games like Portal 1/2, create & edit videos, project through VGA/HDMI, run most of the softwares etc. Edit: Ninja edit Nunni !
