kunallkw
btw alekh is pro sony and HP whereas I m pro dell My college friends haven't had good cases with HP and Sony . So I m anti-alekh brand loyalty is a matter of personal preference for me DELL has been awesome always, own an XPS M1330 for over 3yrs now (/ knocks on wood) , barring the screw up that Nvidia made but then it took HP ACER SONY any every other brand down with it nothing exclusive to Dell per se. and as far as fail stories are concerned about build quality well they exist in all brands only the ones unlucky find out about it ... i have witnessed number of HP an Sony failed mobos mostly heat related which again shall be non existent this gen with sandybridges and their minimal power consumption and heat dissipation

Bird Bird Bird
the f**k?? why is there a 12k difference between YB & YA then?? everything seems pretty much the same to me... Hmm. Go through this thread. Gives info about the i3- 380UM vs AMD Fusion thingy.
Bird Bird Bird
So basically AMD Fusion has half the processing power of a i3 UM chip whereas double the graphical power of Intel HD. So there you go, technology f**ked us again Edit: Oh and more battery life on the AMD Fusion platform anyday for the same battery capacity. X360 is enough for gaming... processing speed is what matters to me... Edit: My cousin has YB (26k one) and says battery lasts just 3-4 hours.. :|
Bird Bird Bird
^^ Well graphic cards are not only for gaming, they help a lot in video editing and the likes. Still if you want more processing power, i3 is the way to go. But i3 Sandybridge proccys must be down the line and they will def give some boost over the current i3. So you might wanna wait before taking the plunge.

You WILL have to invest in an higher capacity battery for sure. HP DM1 comes natively with a 6 cell battery, so should give you 6-7 hours easily (but then again it's AMD Fusion).
