Bought these recently. Have one more on the way but that might take a while to get delivered.

Absolutely loving the artwork in The Fade Out.

Is the fade out hardcover edition? From Amazon?

Yeah, it's the hardcover deluxe edition from Amazon.

Got it for around 3.5K, which is pretty steep. But there was only one copy available at that price, which was the lowest at the time. So I decided to grab it.

Yeah, I saw that. I somehow doubt it will come back in stock :\

Its price is around 3.5K even on amazon.com.

Time to revive this thread.

I generally don't read DC/Marvel, but some of DC arcs have been good in 2019-2020:

- Jimmy Olsen series - Super goofy. You will laugh over some silly scenarios

- Wonder Woman - Dead Earth - AMAZING ART !

- Green Lantern Season 2 - More of Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp is never bad

- DCeased is a decent series (if you like Marvel Zombies)

Indie fun:

- Something is killing the children

- Sex Criminals continues to be amazing as ever

- Bang - All action/spy heroes come to life

- The Plot - cinematic horror at it's best !

Read 2 standout GNs:

1) 18 Days by Grant Morrison - The art is SUBLIME, the story is presented in a fresh manner, capturing a lot of essence of Mahabharat. Highly recommended.

2) Beautiful Darkness - Dark, humorous, anti-fairytale, cute, messed up, creepy, unsettling, horror - No single words can define this book. If you liked Wythches or Fables or Through the Woods, this book is for you.

Pride of Baghdad: Right up there with literary comics like Watchmen, Sandman and other masterpieces. It is wildly haunting, poetic, stunning and heart breaking. Based on a real story of 4 lions escaping from a zoo when US forces bombed Baghdad. It's the story of those 4 lions, and it will stay with you for a long time after you have read it.
