just completed reading Watchmen, i must say everything about this novel is so unique yet so simplified, the whole story, characterization and the macroscopic view into the lives of Super heroes is done with brilliant perfection. the most intriguing thing that i found about this novel is that the author selected a very different approach while portraying the lives of socially proclaimed Gods a.k.a Super heroes, for the first time in my life i actually took them as human beings rather than some invincible creatures.

in the end all i wanna say is that Alan moore is a thought provoking author and i am glad that it didn't took me long to figure that out.

Read the "Joker" by Brian Azzarello (100 Bullets). One word - READ.

This is one of the best Joker stories after "The Killing Joke". The madness comes through in a definite spine chilling way - and it's as canon as Heath Ledger's performance. Reading the book after TDK will make you think that this Joker is portrayed on TDK, but it's quite possibly the other way around. This guy is mad, is very intelligent, and makes me remember the line "Introduce a little chaos into order". There's a lovely cameo by Harley Quinn - not the poochiekins pouting HQ, but a ruthless foil for the Clown Prince of Crime.
