Tyler
^^ Yes, no alien squid, it will be Dr. Manhattan. I kinda see how it fits for the movie though, the alien squid worked in the comic but wouldn't have worked in a movie especially if it keeps a dead serious tone throughout. Bulovski
one of the big reasons for the Watchmen working was the whole back story being filled in - and the parallel stories - I guess those will be missing from the movie. once you read the book you realize why it's called Watchmen and why the motto is so appropriate. in the movie it just might come out as grown men in shiny underwear fighting it out. Madmage
No No No.. Please shut up.. The movie is gonna be awesome.. I want it to be awesome.. Please let it be awesome gOd !!
Bulovski
I absolute hate the Crisis arcs in DC comics - they tend to confuse more than clear up. And to get a complete picture for this one I have to go through an entire year's worth of comics - arghhhhhhhhh. The only reason I want to read Final Crisis is because of Batman's so called horrible fate, and then I can go read the masterpiece by Neil Gaiman called "Whatever happened to the Caped Crusader?". It's a two part comic and I just finished the first one - Gaiman is a storyteller of the highest order.

Grimmjow
My brother will be coming back from US in some months, so I wanted to know some good graphic novels that he can get for me. I have Watchmen, V for Vendetta, BM : TDK Returns and Arkham Asylum. Can someone recommend some more non Batman comics? Any new ones in the market? Tyler
^^ Get KINGDOM COME. Amazing story. BTW it has Batman, but not the Batman we are used to. Also try The Joker. Â Non Batman GNs that you need to own... Â Sandman series Preacher series Y The Last Man series Ronin Wanted Hard-Boiled The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Marvel 1602 Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage Marvel Zombies (slightly off-beat but very cool) Edited May 13, 2009 by Tyler
