ACIDICBRAT
make use of the warranty u still have I think dats the only option i have Are you playing Forgotten Sands or Sands of Time..... Yeah! Is this a slim or a phat unit? If phat, how many GB and is it still in warranty? EDIT: just saw the OP. Yeah I suggest making use of your warranty. Any idea of the proceder to get ur warranty into effect? or just need to visit a sony service centre with the required bills & all ? This may be unrelated but my ps3 use to freeze every time i used the web browser before eventually getting ylod couple of weeks ago.I could play games without any problems though.Good luck dude haww.. Thanks bro Use the warranty if you can or it could be that you have been stressing the heck outta your ps3 Yeah..

abhi90
Not from mumbai, but it's better to call the customer care number and they'll tell you if you should take it to a service center or not, Or you can directly take your console to the sony service center with the bill and the warranty card. Joy
Use the warranty as asap , before it runs out. Those noobs ain't even gonna check it properly. Do make a backup before doing so..
TheDribbler
If someone has got thier ps3 replaced from mumbai under warranty then if anyone can tell me where shud i start from... wud be highly appreciated U need to call up the helpline customercare no .. and all they will do is give u address of the two centres in mumbai. ie one at Saki Naka, Andheri and the other at Grant Road.. They don't provide u direct nos of those centres. They insist u hv to take the unit there itself with bill, warranty, box, accessories etc... If ur lucky..and they hv units in stock... ur replacement shud come in a 1-2weeks time. else its doomsday and the wait continues.. My earlier experience.. with them was pretty bad.. My first ps3 sod took 21 days for replacement...
