There was a game called Auto Assault which bombed and was very similar to what Road Rash MMO / MP would be. The charm of Road Rash was the simplistic environments and controls. It was like those old top down arcade racers except a change in perspective and the guy wore a leather jacket. It was fun but not a cult classic certainly.
