playstation Posted October 1, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 1, 2011 got the game yesterday..amazing atmosphere and music and scale...started with sotc... how to save?? ok about fuelling the fanwar..... Gears 3 got his arse kicked by a decade old game of playstation.......that was really shockin, it shows running n gunning is still not comparable to old school gaming. If we talk about the standard of games by its sale chart then COD would have been the GOTY for all time...and it is a practical example of degradation of game making( and is the forebearer of death of single player gaming) If gears 3 has sold 3-5 million copies world wide then its a shame they should have atleast sold 15m, just compare the no of consoles to that of the exclusives. Whereas sony has still managed to keep a hefty no of xclusives and all of them together sell a lot . The gamers get a taste of variety and not that crazy lame run n gun blood spilling bs crap all the time. gaming is an art and sony has still managed to keep it that way. +1. well said.repped. I will be honest ......sony entering gaming industry was the best thing to happen they brought in technology yet balanced it well to give gaming its original feel in new forms......having said this Nintendo's contribution will also be never forgotten and its enormous ...no doubt abt it.... but microsoft ...dil se bolta hai ...i fail to see what they brought to gaming industry... btw for saving u have to pray in those temple near statue...not the colossus statue but u will now...when u viist a temple. Yeah, whatever. they also launched heavenly sword ...demon souls(they licensed it must have paid heavy for it) ..flower..journey ...and beside keep on encouraging games like the last guardian ..that game has been given lot of time to develop and which is note worthy. so yes it does seem like they keeping the art alive in their own way..... How many xclusive title has MS released that has been phenomenal??? only three Gears 1, Halo and Fable. Multiplayer over LAN is amazing and same for Co op but online i'm not too much into it.
