playstation Posted October 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 9, 2011 There is nothing wrong with camera and controls, its just that we are used to smooth game mechanics frm the modern games.... the camera movement when you are on the collossi :majesty: defeated 10/16 fights... till now Flying and Fish Boss were EPIC!!!!!!! and 10th Boss (Sand)... cant believe Darksiders ripped it from this game... though the scale in Darksiders was more epic!!! when i came across that boss fight in dark siders...i was like WTF!...and it was hardly challenging ....infact i instantly figured out what to do...where as for sotc...i died couple of times trying to understand what to do... in terms of colossus no game has come even close to what sotc achieved and so many have tried to rip from it..even castlevania was nothing great but still it was not bad also where as darksiders was a joke... The sand one, when I played for the first time I just couldn't figure out how to go about it. Kept on dying and got fed up and left the game. But when I did figure it out..man. Flying boss is really epic and also such a pain in the a*s. particularly the part where u've to jump from the horse on to it.. I missed it so many times and had to retry again and again.. what's this fish boss..?? I remember only a turtle like thing and another one like snake with electric shocks.. anyone managed use the dlc codes..?? I tried them @ around 1 in the night still not working.. I cant believe this was originally planned for PS1 then made on PS2. On PS2 that time these graphics would have been a benchmark. However, I didnt like few things in game like:- The game through out is very quiet. No BG music.. adding some music would have helped There were some bugs in the game. I got a hidden weapon and was playing with that. Then the princess is taken by guard and I get an option to start again and Kapoof.. I now have normal weapon. I was too lazy to start/load the game from saved games for that weapon so skipped it.. Sometime camera angle sucks. Checkpoint can be shitty (or may be we are use to for a very frequent checkpoint system so this can be frustrating ) Almost no dialogue in between the girl and the boy. I guess these were intentional design choices by the developers. I mean they created such masterpieces, they could've put in a few dialogues if they wanted. The game communicates with the emotions it evokes in the gamer. I don't know if you've played SotC but play that and you'll know what I'm talking about. Having played through SOTC twice (PS2 & now PS3) and halfway through Ico, I know exactly what you mean. The games are much more than just games they are an emotional experience not to be missed. It's showing me ~3gb of content and around 10 files..downloading through PSDM. and when do we get the TLG footage..? coz all I see right now is behind the scenes of SOTC and ICO... I think it should go to PS for taking the trouble to start that petition. oh my god! thats really sweet of you bro.... btw congratulations on CE! ...sad part that custom thing....importing is so much worry specially because of these custom....it is whole different feeling when you learn that there is no custom on your the thing you imported...still though keep it well ...it is worthy.....if you opening it check the disc art inside....it is brilliant....of both the games...i loved ico's game disc art...and manuals are also so cool of both the games...
