Swayam
I've read somewhere that electronics's tend to fail above 90% humidity. Even my last PS3's motherboard failed (after 6 months of use) and as it wasn't under warranty, I had to buy a new PS3. During the same time period , My laptops motherboard also failed. I think these were the results of humidity in my area as I live very close to the arabian sea. I know people who have been using their PS3 for almost 2 years. Is there anyone facing the same problem? And are there any ways to protect your PS3 from humidity?

Bird Bird Bird
AFAIK, many manufacturers state the humidity range a particular device can tolerate on the spec box. Plus anything b/w 50-80% is considered relatively safe. You should infact be cautious about condensation which occurs due to sudden change in the environment around the electronic, for ex from hot to a sudden cold temperature ! Condensation is more troublesome than humidity
