MarketTantrik
Ok. Cleared most of Blighttown. Avoided the rock hurling trolls/giants at one end of the swamp area and collected whatever items I could find from the rest of the map (How annoying are those mosquitoes?). Entered the Hollow. What a a great, big mindf**k of an area that is. Any tips on how to reach the Crystal Lizards in the Hollow? I can see a couple of them in an alcove to the left side, but I have no idea on how to get there.
Elessar
Use this - There are 10 lizards in the Great Hollow, and they have a chance of dropping the Slab. Also get the Cloranthy Ring there.
MarketTantrik
^^ Thanks. I've got the ring already. I'll check out the video. 10 Lizards eh? Edit: That video doesn't show any lizards.
Elessar
Every place he drops a prism stone, a lizard can spawn. If you want to get all 10 lizards, go to each place, quit your game and reload until the lizard shows up and kill it. Once killed, the lizard won't respawn at that location, but if not killed, you can reload as many times as you want even if it escapes. (A)Kira
Whats your build? Strength/Dex, Pyro/Sorcery/Miracles? Did you upgrade any weapons/armor at the blacksmith? If not, do so immediately.

MarketTantrik
You need to upgrade your character stats as well. If you prefer using longswords, upgrade your Strength and definitely upgrade your Dexterity and Vitality.

I had to farm for nearly 2 hours on my second playthrough (with full item discovery) to get my hands on it, it's a fantastic weapon with a great moveset and low stamina cost. Scales with Dexterity primarily. Also consider going for the Drake sword if you're having trouble. Early game, it's excellent. Don't upgrade it though. (A)Kira
Drake sword is only useful until the carpa demon, after that its useless. Place your faith into an upgraded weapon rather than the drake for the gaping dragon.
i_rock098
Any weapon reccomendation for me too?, I am currently at sen's fortress and use a Black Knight Halberd and i am a heavy str build. Preffer a one handed weapon alongside a good sheild. Edited May 20, 2013 by i_rock098
(A)Kira
I'd suggest the man serpent greatsword. You must have got it cause you're in the fortress, if not farm for it, its very easy to chance upon. If you prefer you could stick with the halberd but you need twinkling titanite for its upgrades. I have the man serpent greatsword but i think the hailberd does much more damage as i have updated it to +2 That is exactly the problem, it needs twinkling titanite for its upgrade which is very diificult to find, i already spent all i had on the upgrade. (A)Kira
If you can make it through the fortress, you can also buy it from the giant blacksmith in anor londo. Its about 8000 souls or so. Edited May 20, 2013 by Beelzebub

MarketTantrik
One correction. I meant to say that you should upgrade your Endurance and Vitality along with Strength. Not Dexterity.
