harjas
One correction. I meant to say that you should upgrade your Endurance and Vitality along with Strength. Not Dexterity. oh ok
(A)Kira
But the balder sword is a dex weapon. If you want to stick to this weapon, and it's a good one, focus on your dex, not strength. And of course focus on vitality and endurance. What magic do you use? Edit: this sword will also reach an awesome A dex scaling when fully upgraded. Stick with it and focus on dex. (A)Kira
Darkroot basin is a nice closed area useful for farming. But if you think you are leveled enough, just go to lower undead burg and continue the game. If you decide to farm some in darkroot garden then you should not overlevel yourself or it will be really had to find summons.
i_rock098
^^ Get to the Great Hollow and hunt down the Crystal Lizards for Twinkling Titanite.I hate those lizards, they run away whenever I come near. If you can make it through the fortress, you can also buy it from the giant blacksmith in anor londo. Its about 8000 souls or so.This looks like a good option,Any other weapon apart from the man serpent and halberd I should keep my eye on? Elessar
You can just stand at the spot where lizard spawns, quit your game and reload. The lizard will be right near you and you can kill it fast. +1 from my side for the Man Serpent Great Sword, it's the weapon I used on my strength build. Another popular choice is the Zweihander, available easily near the skeletons at Firelink Shrine.
MarketTantrik
I'm currently using the Zweihander. It's been reinforced to +8 and is a real beast, but it's sooooo frickin' slow. I think I'll scout around for the Man Serpent Greatsword.

Aftrunner
LOL So I started a new character going for a Faith/Quality build. I figure I will put in a few hours to get it to SL 70ish. Early on in the game, I invade in Darkroot basin. As soon as I invade, the target dies. I get 847,000 souls. Holy f**k! (A)Kira
Its not very advisable to have such a heavy load. Then your rolling will not be very effective. Try to atleast have a mid roll, and if possible keep your equip load under 30-25, until you upgrade your endurance.

Only the material you have equipped counts. You can put stuff in the box to avoid clutter in your inventory. If you have less than 50% of limit equipped, you will do a mid roll, which is decent. Any more than that and you move slow, use more stamina and do a fat roll (falling down rather than rolling). Recommended that you keep it below 50%. Below 25% gives you the fastest roll. Increase your endurance to increase weight limit.
Aftrunner
Did he dies as a direct result of your invasion? And 847K souls? I didnt do jack. I didnt even see the guy. I spawned. Took two steps. "Target Destroyed." Good thing too cause going by the number of souls I got, I am guessing he was way over SL 100 and would have destroyed me. This is why I love invading with the cracked red eye orbs early on. Its such a random crap shoot.
