kushalrocks
ROFL Invaded some guy in AL. There is already a Blue Phantom there. Both the host and the Blue phantom are naked. As soon as I walk in, host starts whipping the blue phantom with the Whip. Blue phantom is running around in a circle dropping "I am Sorry" stones. Holy f**k I nearly died laughing. pbpoovannagamer
anyone here tried playing this game as an archer only ?? some of the top 30 shields
(A)Kira
Really like the idea of the vortex shield, and also love the last one. Really reflects the atmosphere and the feeling of (many) players in Dark Souls.
Aftrunner
Man it would so goddamn awesome if that last shield updated with a scratch upon each death. Best. Idea. EVER! Archery only run is very doable. Bows scale amazingly with Dex, do very respectable damage. Only hurdle would be a boss like Capra demon where there is no room to move and shoot or Nito where there are multiple targets. Other bosses would probably be easier with the bow than just melee with a mid level char. Edited May 28, 2013 by Aftrunner

harjas
hmm dies again by the 2 bosses at anor londo but damaged their health a little this time so won't lose hope would hopefully kill them after some more tries that video Edited May 28, 2013 by harjas
Tyler
Do you have Pyro spells? Both are weak against fire. Also concentrate on only one of them until you kill one. I recommend going for Ornstein (the skinny one). Damaging both of them is pointless as the other one regains full health as soon as one dies. Try to always keep both on the screen while you're fighting one (keep one between yourself and the other one). That way you won't get blindsided. It's going to be a long fight so don't rush and be greedy with your attacks. Lastly you can always summon someone for the fight. You'll usually find summon signs in the bonfire room. You can also summon Solaire (his summon sign is near the archer in the large room before the bosses). He's not much of a help but will aid you by distracting one of the bosses so you can focus on the other. Aftrunner
Pfft. Summon a human. That fight is fun as hell in co op.
(A)Kira
Solaire's sign is also located near the archer in the room before the fight. Him and some co-op partners will make this fight a piece of cake. Also use the broken pillars (once they break them) to block them for a second and chug some estus. And concentrate on only one of them at first and finish him. Dont try to lower both of their health. And harjas, did you listen to what I said and start using magic? MarketTantrik
I've put some souls towards gaining one attunement slot. Now how the frick to I actually use the spell I have attuned?
Aftrunner
You need a casting item for whatever spell you wanna cast. If you are casting a Miracle, you need a talisman. For Magic you need a catalyst. For Pyro you need the pyro glove. You also need to meet the stat requirement for that spell. Pyro spells have no stat requirement though. If you are a primarily melee character then the only magic you should bother with is either Magic weapon/Great magic weapon. For Pyro Power within. For Miracle Heal. Other spells from Magic and miracle require a lot of stat investment to be worth it.
i_rock098
Hinally defeated the Iron Golem, now off to anor londo The leavel is so tight walking on such narrow beams Edited May 29, 2013 by i_rock098
Tyler
I've put some souls towards gaining one attunement slot. Now how the frick to I actually use the spell I have attuned? So you've made it to Anor Londo with a melee only build? Perhaps it's best to continue that way and not go for magic at all. Melee only is a lot of fun and if you don't have a lot of points in FAI or INT by now, miracles and magic won't be so effective. Pyro is still viable though. So yeah like Afty said, the only useful spells are the weapon/shield/attack buffs. You can always go for a magic build on your next playthrough (this is a game meant to be played multiple times with different builds and rules).
