meaNmachine
Need suggestion for a Sorcerer/ Magic build. I only know about the weapon buffs. Planning to complete with a SL 60-70 character. I know I can read wikis for the info but it is really boring :| How to increse the magic spell uses? Right know I have 30 spell uses. Which special items boost magic? Best magic spells? EDIT: Don't have the DLC Edited June 2, 2013 by meaNmachine
Aftrunner
Best spells (non DLC) - Soul Spear, Crystal Soul Spear, Homing Soulmass, Homing Crystal soulmass and Crystal Magic weapon. 44INT lets you use every useful magic, but it might be a bit excessive if you plan on staying sub SL 70. You would probably end up with a glass cannon build where you die very quick but do a f**k ton of damage. All magic spells have a limited number of uses. To increase them, you have to buy equip the same spell twice. For example, if you buy 2 soul arrows and equip them, it gives you 60 of them. But most good magics can only be bought once. Dusk crown, Bellowing Dragoncrest ring and Logans catalyst all boost sorceries. Pure Sorcery is a great build for Co op and PvE. Almost totally useless in PvP.

Magic weapon, Strong magic weapon. And then you have the resins. I save the resins for boss fights.
(A)Kira
Thanks man. I'm currently really fond of rotten resin. I'm also starting another play through for a miracle build. Any tips? Last time I did one I used tarus demon's souls to level up my faith to 25, joined the sunbros and ripped through a few areas with the lightning spear. (A)Kira
Finally beat Graveload Nito First I had to take care of those annoying skeletons, so I equipped a Furysword in one hand, and a Divine flamberge in the other. A swing of one and one of the other and they were all dead. Then i just kept staffing to his right while attacking him with Great Fireball, Fire Whip, Great Combustion and Fire surge. He was down before I depleted my spells.
Aftrunner
Get your Faith up to 30. Get the Great Lightning spear from Sunbro covenant. Get the Sunlight weapon miracle by killing Dark Sun Gwyn. Get Wrath of the gods by saving that chick in TotG.
(A)Kira
Thanks for the help. I also found a sweet farming place in the Painted World. Go through the first door to the mutated hollows with spears. Go the the back of the pack and use Chaos storm. Then use fire tempest for the stranglers. I got a 100k in 10 minutes. Would have gotten more with the symbol of avarice+ silver ring (only used SoA).
Tyler
Yup, that's one of the best soul farming spots. Pyro spells + those phalanx enemies = lots of souls in a short time. It's easier than cheesing the Forest Hunters IMO. Then again farming souls is the most boring and pointless thing in the game... unless it's your first playthrough. MarketTantrik
FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKKK!! I almost had Smough & Ornstein solo. Finished off Ornstein quickly and had Smough down to 40% of his health when the bastard managed to pull off a cheap super butt stomp that somehow managed to teleport right where I landed up after my dodge. Elessar
^^ This happened one time to me, solo . On my first playthrough, after about a dozen tries. Just gotta pick yourself up and try again. Edited June 4, 2013 by Elessar
(A)Kira
I helped 4-5 guys beat Gywn and it wasn't that hard. Basically I was the bait and I just kept tanking him with a heavy armor set while the host healed up and took his attention again. Then I would use Great Fireball, Fire tempest or just whale on him. Got a nice score of souls. He's just a really aggressive guy with easy-to-dodge attacks. Though his hand cannon blast is really awesome. Super Smough's butt stomp is the only thing that can OHK you. But it has a BIG tell and it's very easy to move back to get out of the AoE. You don't even have to roll back or anything, there's enough time to just walk away from him. Also he only really does the stomp if you get too many hits in at a time. If you chip away slowly he will rarely do it and just do his normal attack. Most of them leave him open after he misses. Aftrunner
This is what a cheater looks like. Guy gets "Summoned" into my world without me ever summoning. Is in full body form, not a red, white, blue or yellow phantom. Can use Estus. You cannot use the crystal to send him back. And as if all those advantages arent enough, you cant hit him. He can. I dont even get the point, where is the fun in that? :/

pbpoovannagamer
hey guys want advice to make a +15 strength weapon since i have a strength build! i already have a +15 claymore ,a +14 zweihander which i will turn into +15 cause its heavy attack is superb (using titanite slab from seigmeyer quest line) now my doubt is which would be a good strength weapon to turn into +15 so i can use it in PVP ? meaNmachine
^^ Man Serpent greatsword? Fully upgraded one will have 'A' STR scaling and you can also use weapon buffs. BTW how many Titanite slabs do you have? I know about three ways to get slabs. Stray Demon, Siegmeyer and Sieglinde storyline. Is there any other way? EDIT: I know about the Darkwraith method. But the drop rate is extremely low Edited June 5, 2013 by meaNmachine
