Elessar
You definitely do not need to pay anything to play online on PC. I've not seen gold/silver memberships on the pc version. Just create a free account and play.

Elessar
I had a hard time finding this too.. Go across the nearby bridge and to the right after crossing bridge. Go straight on this path till there's a statue besides a dead end, that's a fake wall. Hit it and go on through to the bonfire. The statue will hurt you whenever you pass this way, so roll or block. Â I may be off by a bit, but try it and see if you find it.. Definitely a fake wall with a statue was there.

aj21
also, where should i invest my points for levelling up?
(A)Kira
You should now go to your right and up to Undead Burg. Â And you should always invest in Endurance and vitality (this can be skipped if you can dodge well but recommended to invest in it for first playthrough), but the rest of the points will go into skills depending on your play style in the game. Â Some questions to determine it- Â Starting character? Would you like to use Fire, Magic or Miracles? Do you want to use quick weapons like Katanas, Daggers etc, or heavy weapons like Greatswords, Greataxes etc? aj21
Btw found some firebombs  Now abt ur questions Pyromancer A little bit of magic just for variety Basically Want to play with sword in one hand and shield in the other
(A)Kira
Pyro needs no stats to improve so just keep at it. For magic you need to raise your intelligence. You'll find venders for spells for both somewhere after the first quarter of the game. Â And there are a lot of varied weapons so see what type you like before deciding. This is a hidden effect in Dark Souls. When someone kindles a bonfire in their own world, other players near the same place may randomly get a bonus flask added to their total, even if it's at maximum
pbpoovannagamer
also, where should i invest my points for levelling up? the wiki is very helpful; for basic understanding of the game http://darksoulswiki.wikispaces.com/ cause u will have 100s of Q and no one will be able to ans all of them ! found it very helpful! Aftrunner
Dont spread your points out when you are leveling up. Focus on either DEX or STR. Put everything else into VIT and END. Â And maybe 15 INT so you can enchant your weapons, but no higher than that if you are doing a sword and shield playthrough.

meaNmachine
This is a hidden effect in Dark Souls. When someone kindles a bonfire in their own world, other players near the same place may randomly get a bonus flask added to their total, even if it's at maximum   AFAIK when someone gives a positive rating to one of your messages, you get 1 humanity or 1 estus flask. aj21
took me a lot of time and a few tries to kill that black knight in undead burg. he dropped a black knight sword and titanite something. must say the combat is awesome.it didnt feel boring at all to go through the same set of enemies a number of times after dying.
