aj21
got the man serpent greatsword. is there any bonfire in sens?
Aftrunner
When you get to the top (not the very top, thats the boss) of Sens fortress, there is a ledge you can drop off of, to get to a bonfire on a balcony. Youtube it. Hiding that bonfire is one of the most dickish move by the developers.
aj21
hate the swinging blades. seems so easy to cross and one hit and u end up in the lap of a titanite demon
aj21
also that giant who opened the gates. i stood near him with shield up and he started dancing and then hitting.a moment later he slept for a bit.
(A)Kira
Wait what? Which giant? The one that throws the cannonballs?
Elessar
^^ The giant that opens the gate is different from the one from that throws cannonballs.. He can be accessed by climbing out of the pit in Sen's Fortress and then hitting an invisible wall to climb more.

meaNmachine
Ok so aj21 will help me transfer items from one character to another. So can I use the bottomless box for transferring items? I was thinking of storing all items I want to transfer in the box and then giving it to aj21. I am transferring items for a Magic build. I know about the best catalysts and rings that boost sorcery, thanks to Afty. So please suggest swords (or any weapon) and armors for a magic build with 40+ INT. Currently I am using the Balder side sword and Crimson Set. Edited July 23, 2013 by meaNmachine
Aftrunner
If you like the moveset then Balders Side Sword is already boss. Take it up the enchanted path and it does really decent damage. Plus the advantage is since it only needs like 14DEX and 10 STR you can have a really good weapon without putting any serious points into DEX or STR. IIRC at 40+ INT you want a weapon that goes the Enchanted route as the scaling with INT for that is higher. So while Balder sword is great, if you want something else you can take any other weapon with lowish requirements (if you like the moveset) up the same route eg Enchanted Uchigatana etc. Plus the great thing about the Enchanted route is that you can get Blue Titanite and the Enchanted ember in the Darkroot garden itself. And the blacksmith that does the job is down before New Londo. So you can have an almost maxxed out Enchanted weapon before you even fight the gargoyles. If you dont want a weapon that scales with INT and just want a pure damage weapon, then Chaos great Scythe kicks ridiculous amount of a*s. At 14 DEX and STR with 10 Humanity it was doing 500+ Damage. Armor depends on the way you fight and the END you will have. Anyway, anyone on the PC below SL 40? Help me transfer a couple of weapons to a new character? Will throw in a Titanite slab or a Firekeepers soul for your troubles. I would go to Steam community but I am afraid if I end up with a random dude, he might just take my sh*t and run.
meaNmachine
Successfully tranferred items from one charcater to another, thanks a ton aj21 That feeling of summoning your friend sucessfully after lots of failed attempts >>>> Defeating ANY boss! I really hope they remove this summon sign bullsh*t in DS2. Sometimes you can see your friend's sign within seconds and sometimes it takes around an hour to connect. You PC folks are lucky that you don't have to face all these troubles connecting to friends. Now I am ready for a badass Magic build, time to boost INT to 40+
(A)Kira
I'm pretty sure that they said that they were going back to the sever based online like Demon souls. And they should make it so that you should be able to easily invite a friend to a game if they meet the level requirements. aj21
is it worth offering 30 humanity to chaos covenant to get that spell and open a shortcut?
(A)Kira
It depends. Do you have excess humanity to spare? If so do it. It saves a lot of time which would otherwise be spent trekking the lava and killing those towering demons one by one. And it contains the only respawning titinate demon in the game. If not, I'd say skip it, you can always access it from the other side with no problem and the time spent farming humanity could just be spent clearing that area. And the chaos fireball spell takes up two slots but is kinda useful in PvP, where sometimes the other guy will roll into the lava. Also have you met Quelana? If not you need an ascended pyro glove. She sells a lot of really useful spells like great combustion, great fireball etc.
meaNmachine
is it worth offering 30 humanity to chaos covenant to get that spell and open a shortcut? Yes, definitely! That shortcut is impotant if you want to complete Solaire quest properly. Go for it, I gave you enough humanities Check this for more info : http://darksouls.wikidot.com/solaire-of-astora And the chaos fireball spell takes up two slots but is kinda useful in PvP, where sometimes the other guy will roll into the lava. Also have you met Quelana? If not you need an ascended pyro glove. She sells a lot of really useful spells like great combustion, great fireball etc. You get chaos fireball by simply joining the chaos servant covenant. The pyro spell that you get after giving 30 soft humanities is Chaos storm. Edited July 25, 2013 by meaNmachine
(A)Kira
Oops. Sorry got mixed up Then it is worth it. And be sure to meet up with quelana, you'll get fire tempest from her after Bed of Chaos, EDIT: And the shortcut also puts you right in front of the room of the last part of the onion guy quest, do it right and you'll get a slab. http://darksouls.wikidot.com/siegmeyer-of-catarina Edited July 25, 2013 by Beelzebub

(A)Kira
If she is sitting down in one of those islands directly opposite the rock throwing giants outside the quelaag fight, then yes. Buy her spells they are really useful, and search for Power Within in blightown, really helpful in a lot of fights.
