meaNmachine
@aj21: It was a Megamule. People used the BB glitch to have all items in the game transferred to one character. But there was a recent update that fixed the BB glitch. So now, to promote PVP people share items with other players in certain locations. But there are some assholes who don't share at all. They will simply invade low level players in early areas of the game. I was invaded a lot by such f**kers when I just started playing the game. That time I didn't even know how online play works These losers used to kill me and then perform facepalm/shrug gesture :| That glowing sword that you are talking about, I think he was using the Sunlight blade or Darkmoon blade buff. According to a lot of people they are the best weapon buffs for PVP. I haven't used them as the FAITH requirement is very high, around 30 IIRC. Now that you have 99 boss souls (i.e 99 x 20k souls), don't over level your character. Other than buying titanites, the best thing you can do is upgrade your pyro glove and buy some cool pyro spells from Queelana in Blighttown. That day you told me that you can't use Firelink shrine bonfire. That is because Knight of Carim (golden armor guy) killed the fire keeper when you entered Blighttown. In AL you can use the black eye orb just outside the O&S boss fog gate to invade Carim's world. After you kill him, he will drop a special fire keeper soul that you can use to revive the Fire keeper in Shrine. ------------- Reached AL with my SL 50 (30 INT) magic character. Trolling people with chameleon spell is so much fun! For damage, homing soulmass is the best so far. I also found a way to get two copies of both homing soulmass and soul spear

Its R2 attack sends out a cone shaped shockwave of magic damage. Surefire sign of a scrub in PvP. ^^Start at 1:40 Faith buff is great if you are making SL 90+ PvP characters, otherwise not so much. 30 Faith gets you Sunlight miracle or Darkmoon blade and Wrath of the Gods. Kind of a standard PvP high level set up. VERY common.
aj21
It was indeed the moonlight greatsword. I will share some of these souls with random people and keep the rest for weapon upgrades and upgrading the pyro. Never knew people could be this generous. (A)Kira
I've invaded a lot of assholes, and a few nice people too. One guy had this amazing build and he was kind enough to share it with me after kicking my a*s and tossing it up in the air And he gave me some sweet weapons......Though it was bait.......*Cue backstab* But I invaded the same group of gankers multiple times, one guy would force me, the other would dragon force me and the third would backstab me. And then dark bead, and then all three would great combustion me if I wasn't dead.
meaNmachine
I never could get around this game I don't understand the concept I'm not into RPG games But play HnS games Should I try Demons Souls?! What is the gameplay about?! & how does PvP work?! This game is extremely complicated as there is no spoon feeding. There are no tutorials to expalin even the basic game mechanics. You have to talk to NPC's for basic info. I have played the game 100+ hours and still there are few concepts that I don't understand. I haven't played Demon Souls. But I think you should get Dark Souls cause many people play this on PS3. You might not know this but Dark Souls PS3 online community (not IVG of course) is HUGE! But as waveking said before getting this game, be prepared to die...again and again and again... This is not a sit back and relax kind of game. There is no pause button! No matter how good you are as a gamer, this game can bring the worst out of you. That is the charm of the game. You learn from your mistakes. You may die like 50 times before you defeat a boss, but that feeling when you finally kill that boss ---> Priceless! Difficult to explain the gameplay in a single post. It is an open world game, but not like Skyrim. There are around 30 areas in the game and each area has a Boss. This game is everything one could ask for. From the stunning landscapes to the in depth leveling and equipment upgrading, to the simplistic yet satisfying combat system. There are so many ways to create a character. Every time I create a new character I learn something new about the game. The game is unique and once you pick up on patterns and movement, it is so much better. It's not easy by any means, but it isn't as difficult as the mainstream game media made it seem. Nah I am pretty sure its the Moonlight sword from Seath. Its R2 attack sends out a cone shaped shockwave of magic damage. Surefire sign of a scrub in PvP. Hmmm. So it is that sword you get after cutting Seath's tail. Never used it. (A)Kira
Yeah once you get stun locked into it, you're gonna die, its very hard to roll away from. Thats why I always carry a Black Knight Shield+5 to neutralize that fire damage and for stability. And AnK, try to get the game and go for it. It a hit or miss for most people. Watch this video to categorize yourself-
ALPHA17
^^ To all on this thread, I applaud your dedication, skill and passion for the game. Wish that Dark Souls II is everything you hope for and more. Regards and best wishes. Saluto vos ego faciam eis, qui morituris. =]

SpearHea:D
I still remeber that i shouted " mar bc " while slamming my hand on the table after finally beating smough & ornstein after like 40+ tries . The relief was priceless , this game always keeps you on your toes !

harjas
OMG bhaiyas check this out !!! Dark Souls now harder with user-created first-person view Longtime fans of From Software who long for the perspective of the King's Field series in Dark Souls may want to take note of a set of tweaks that enable first-person view in the Windows PC version of the game. A word of warning though; its creator says the notoriously difficult role-playing game becomes "next to unplayable" from first-person. YouTube user and Dark Souls modder "Soul Slasher" posted the above video this week of the game from first-person, a feat accomplished by equipping certain armor, changing the size of the player's body and head size to zero (or smaller) and moving the game's camera in closer to the action. The result is a mostly functional first-person perspective, though with some awkwardly floating arms. Mods featured in the video are available at NexusMods, where a more capable first-person mod for Dark Souls will assuredly appear someday soon. (A)Kira
It could be improved upon, but this one would give motion sickness to a lot of people. I spent 15 minutes playing hide and seek with a host with my greatbow in the narrow pathway in the kiln. Finally rushed him and managed a backstab and then took care of him. Also had a black knight helping me
aj21
Anor londo is a very active area for online play I reached that bonfire after the archers(which were pita) and reverse hollowed. Found 7 to 8 summon signs there.never seen these many anywhere. Also solaire seemed to be in good mood.on talking he said " if i didnt know better,i would have thought you have feelings for me"
aj21
done with ornstein and smough (dont know which one was ornstein and which one was smough). died a couple times then summoned solaire for it.. killed the quicker one first. WHAT A BOSS FIGHT!!! will keep on putting down my summon signs so i can participate in this fight with other people. aj21
also, catarina quest is broken for me. i will kill him when i visit sens next. apart from o&s,the most frustrating fight in anor londo has been in the world of knight lautrec. cannot heal and there are 3 of them. also,he fu**ing PARRIED my attack.never expected that. also kinda disappointed with havels set.it weighs more than stone set(which i have been using till now) and provide same defence. (A)Kira
I had the exact same reaction when an enemy parried me in the game  And don't kill the onion guy yet, wait till you meet and rescue his daughter. And did you try meeting him in anor londo?
Aftrunner
You can heal when you invade Lautrec. You have to use a Humanity or a Divine blessing to do it though. If you still cant beat him, the cheap method involves poison arrows on his douchebag friends from afar and making yourself a cup of coffee while you wait. MarketTantrik
I used the falling stab attack on Lautrec's buddies and finished off the golden one himself pretty easily.
