The centipede demon is a pain if you don't know how to proceeded with it, but the Firesage is just the Stray demon on fire. And remember to save Solaire. He's a good guy who loves shiny things. Aftrunner Posted August 26, 2013 Report Share Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) Man I LOVE the zwie. It hits like a freight train in an almost 360 arc making short work of backstab fishers. And it stun locks like a mofo. So unless you have serious Poise stacked up, the first time you get hit, its all over. Did PvP for 2-3 hours and racked up like 500k souls. Only lost twice I think. Once to a 3 man gank squad (took one of them down but then rolled off a cliff like an idiot) and the other time to someone who used my own tactics on me. Edit Hey that blue guy in pbp's screenshot is the one who killed me. Bastard stacked up poise and stunlocked me to death. But NG+ dlc would be a bitch and I just don't feel like starting the game again from scratch just for the dlc. If only I'd known earlier, I wouldn't have finished my NG so that I could play the dlc Why not? This isn't just any game. I have already played the game 3 times. And haven't killed the final boss in two playthorughs cause I will get the DLC later. The game gets better and better with each playthrough. Start again with a different playstyle. Go for a Magic/Sorcerer build which is great for PVE, I love it! You can also create a DEX heavy katana wielding build for PVP. I'm focusing more on my miracles playthough, but the only decent miracle I've been able to acquire was the lightning one from the sunbros. Aftrunner Posted August 28, 2013 Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 I can just buy Rings of Sacrifice I guess. They are like 5k a pop. I could buy maybe 50 of them. Good call on starting a new character. Pyro Dex is a really good mix. I would recommend stay sub SL 55 so you have a ton of invasion opportunities. Get STR/DEX to 14 each. Put EVERYTHING else into VIT/END and you should end up with 32 for both. Get a lightning Uchi and a Chaos scythe. You will just wreck sh*t with that setup. (A)Kira Posted August 28, 2013 Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 For unique weapons, you have to have one character finish 2.5 playthroughs to get all boss souls. And the miracles trophy also needs at least 1 full playthrough and lots of online as one miracle requires gwyn's souls and I think +1 or +2 in the sunbros. aj21 Posted August 29, 2013 Report Share Posted August 29, 2013 finished the game. one of the best games ever made. played the last couple of areas offline and rushed through because of time issues.will sell the game now and grab prepare to die edition sometime in jan/feb. i dont think there is any other game better than DaS in its genre. great combat,awesome bosses,co-op,pvp and those level designs( shortcuts ).just wish playing with friends is easier in das2. upper undead burg,sens fortress and anor londo were the best areas imo.
