Use the residence key to get the gold pine resin and two hits with a sword coated with this resin and the taurus gets stunned . Works like a charm. Whatever happens dont get cursed guys it sucks bad ...  every boss is tough until you beat it  thanks for the gold pine resin tip.... found 3 of them in the chest near the boss fight and didn't know what to do with them. how do you coat a weapon with the resin, and how long does it last? Equip the resin like the estus flask or any other item and use it. Your character should coat it on your right hand weapon. nameless Posted October 12, 2011 Report Share Posted October 12, 2011 So chose pyromancer or someone like that (the one that gets to shoot flames) and killed the tutorial boss the first time I met him. Got the hammer but cannot use it as Strength required is '46' and am still at 14 or 15. Anyway getting owned by the Taurus boss...been already killed about 20-25 times. I suggest you get the drake sword it gives 200 physical damage raw But no other boosts. But for now its really strong and the requirements are very low .. EX-Kuro Posted October 12, 2011 Report Share Posted October 12, 2011 And the curse has been lifted YAY.  To go back to the asylum you need to 1) Find the shortcut elevator to the Undead Parish/Burg (i forgot the name). This will take you straight to the area where you fight the mini tower knight and the pitchfork soul arrow guy 2)When your in the elevator you need to roll of the first platform while its still moving. Its very safe and pretty hard to miss 3)From you'll need to run and jump onto a thin ledge towards the left of the platform 4)Run up the ledge and then up the stairs until u reach the crows nest 5)An option to curl up into a ball will display. At first nothing happens wait for a while and then the raven will take you back to the asylum  Also if anyone has rescued Knight Lautrec Of Carim please tell me how to summon him,to aid me in the Gaping dragon boss fight .
