nameless
Currently stuck at the Seath fight. Any idea where are summons for this fight and what the levels are for summoning? Never found any summons and lost over 30 humanity . Anyhoo the issue might also be that I am too low a level to actual summon people for help (SL 12). zen
.i died....i lost above 1000 souls... 1000 souls? I just lost 38,000 souls in sens fortress because i fell of a cliff. Just standing on the edge, looking at the view. Turn around to see a boulder push me off. A stupid boulder that i had caused by rearranging the levers earlier. I had to go for a walk after that. I could have lost lot more if i went to that area after some more time i spend....you know with games like these you could end up destroying someone's lot of hard work...I think hge must have done it in funny way but it is not...this is one hard game....People who are saying this is easy ...dont know what to say. Just now got totally f**ked up in darkroot area....i went inside this light and saw this huge knight sleeping. I thought he is the boss and while i almost killed him...bc jane kaha se ...3-4 same knights showed up and with 3-4 of those tree thing also....how am i suppose to fight with all of them... this game is more f**ked up then demon souls...as far as i remember atleast demon souls did not throw so many enemies at once upon you... 38k souls?? my best till now is like 4.3 lakh souls.Well am a PVP guy right now Are you guys crazy??? you people walk around with 4.3l souls so casually...the moment i see i have enough soul to upgrade i rush back to level up..... Aftrunner
If you are getting ganged up by super tough enemies and dying then you are doing something wrong. Other games use tutorials and on screen text to teach you what to do. Dark souls uses death to teach you what not to do. Treat each death as a learning experience because you WILL die. And you will die A LOT. Get used to it. If a 1000 measly souls (seriously, if you ever end up finishing the game you will come back to that post laugh your a*s off about being upset at 1000 souls) or a couple of deaths are pissing you off this much then this game isnt for you. Play something else or use cheat codes like Zodka.

playstation
If you are getting ganged up by super tough enemies and dying then you are doing something wrong. This is in the area where you just trave the white light and see a knight sleeping...as you approach him he stands up and then after 2 mins...others show up....that area is only like that. what can i do wrong if the area is like that only?? anyways i shoot lot of arrows at that dragosn tail also..nothing happen..people say after 15-20 arrons we gives youdrake sword...i gave up on that... i am playing as cleric...what attributes should i level up most?? also i finished demon souls...almost equally tough game and without much support just few things i checked the internet for likw qhT Mgic does what etc..I am playing gaming since 20 years...and i can count on my fingers the number of times i may have used cheat that too just to test the cheat out of curiousity or to get done with tthat game fast...not because i could not take up the challange.....dont compare me with that zodak...he uses cheat and youtube and what not...he just plays game for trophies or achievements and to get that he will go to any length . Aftrunner
Then maybe you shouldnt be in the Darkroot garden at the beginning? But if you really want to go there then here is the best possible tip about taking on groups of enemies in Dark Souls. DONT. Use a bow and arrows to pull enemies towards you one by one. And fight them solo. There is a reason an enemy will run towards you if you shoot him with an arrow. And lastly, like I said before. Get used to dying. And losing souls. It will happen. And it will happen a lot.
shreyasp
Dying is like a core part of the game
Blueelvis_RoXXX
Should i get the Prepare to Die edition of this game over PS3? after seeing afty's praise i am thinking of getting it. [PS afty doesnt like every game ]
zen
Always pull enemies. I even shoot at walls before i enter a new room, to cause enemy movements so i can figure out if i am entering a fight or not. If you are walking around with a ton of souls in a new area, then keep a homeward bone handy. It is really satisfying to breeze through an area you had trouble earlier. The time and effort you invested paid off.

Blueelvis_RoXXX
If u play on console then better get std edition if u lyk the game then get DLC coz its punishingly hard the game is actually on sale on PA for 1K + 5$ shipping and dunno is custom gets me.
