Ethan_Hunt
Yeah. I just beat Quelaag and didn't summon Mildred. I want to kill all the bosses on my own. I died on my first encounter, as I didn't know the attack patterns and had the incorrect shield (Spider shield) equipped for the fight. Got her on my second try. Noticed that my Drake's Sword is slowly starting to become ineffective against the higher enemies now. Is it worth upgrading or moving onto a new weapon now? shreyasp
Move onto a new weapon now drake doesnt scale with anything or doesnt has ele dmg make a weapon with scaling of ur main stat(dex/str/faith/int) or make a weapon with ele dmg u also get a lightning spear on the way to sens fortress boss its nice till u make ur own weapon Edited October 16, 2012 by shreyasp
nameless
As usual I am partial towards katana. You can get one by killing the merchant at Undead Parish and you can get it upgraded by Andrei. It scales with Dex, does bleed damage and gets more powerful with resins and buffs. pbpoovannagamer
hey SpearHea:D take the stairs on the right just after u see the boar/dog go up AND then shoot arrows or throw firebombs from above plan B when it charges at u run back to the ladder where u entered that area the boar will stop chasing & turn around, then stab it in the a*s for more damage- repeat this cowardly tactic and see ur self rewarded if ur feeling particularly brave u can lead it in front of the fire spots then dodge/dive roll out of the way such that the boar runs into the fire located where its found standing, it dies quite easily after 2 or 3 times

nameless
There are four places you can go to. Dark Root Garden/Basin, Catacombs, Depths/Blighttown, New Londo Ruins. If you want to continue the story(?), then go to blighttown and ring the bell. If you picked the master key as gift while starting, there is a shortcut to get to blighttown from Firelink Shrine. If not, then go to go to Depths and kill the Gaping Dragon (the grossest boss in Dark Souls) which will drop the key for Blighttown. Ringing the bell there will open up Sen's fortress, from where you can go to Anor Londo. Anor Londo is a very good place for farming and leveling up. You can also go to Darkroot Garden and try fighting the Moonlight Butterfly, Hydra and Sif (Bosses) and use the souls for leveling up before going on to the second bell. Since you killed the blacksmith, you cannot make Divine Weapons and that is really useful in the Catacombs. So Catacombs might be a difficult place for now. The next time you see me online, message me. I think I can invade you with my level 12 character and drop some Divine Weapons for Catacombs and other weapons/armours. Hope you are putting points in Vit and Endurance. That will boost your HP and Weapons/Armour carrying ability. If you start using Elemental Weapons then most of the other stats are kinda useless. Aftrunner
Man that Drake sword isnt gonna last you much longer. I would say avoid the Darkroot garden for now until you get better gear. Since you started as a thief use the masterkey to get to Blighttown. Use the shortcut, you can get super duper screwed if you run into curse frogs in the Depths. nameless
Yeah....if you go further down....there is a lift that will take you to New Londo Ruins and shortcut to Blighttown. The shortcut will open up only if you picked Master Key as starting Gift.
Ethan_Hunt
I just beat the Iron Golem and got lifted away to Anor Londo. I still had a couple of places to explore in Sen's Fortress and wanted to head back. So I used a 'Homeward Bone' to make my way back to the bonfire in Sen's Fortress. Now I'd like to know that I can still go back to Anor Londo later? I hope I didn't screw up without exploring that area.

Yeah. Also, down below the Firelink shrine is another Blacksmith. He isnt as good as the one you murdered but he can still repair your equipment and stuff. So make sure you use him. pbpoovannagamer
ya aftrunnrer using the blacksmith wisely this time and how far is the bonfire in these ruins hey? i went through a fog wall and thought a boss fight was next and was pleasantly surprised no boss but those damn ghosts pop up through the floor arrgh!! need to find bonfire
Aftrunner
What are you doing in New Londo ruins? Get the hell out of there ASAP. You dont have to go to that place till the second half of the game. And there is no bonfire down there, closest bonfire is the Firelink Shrine one. Once you go down the lift from Firelink, go to the right. There is a staircase there that leads to a mountain like area with a cave to the right (over a small bridge). Thats the way to Blighttown. pbpoovannagamer
oh ok the valley of the drakes? i got scared dont wanna fight any fire breathing lizards yet!! ok will try again
Aftrunner
Yeah Valley of the drakes. As soon as you enter, there is a little wooden bridge to the right. Cross it and there is a cave which leads to Blighttown. The Blighttown bonfire is at the bottom in a sewer tunnel like entrance to the left as soon as you reach the floor. You will need some purple moss clumps though cause you will get poisoned all the time. You can farm them off the tree like things in the Darkroot garden.
